I had fun chatting with Mike Price yesterday about CoRE 94 - click here to listen to our conversation. Mike’s incredibly insightful when it comes to blog marketing and much of our conversation focused on that topic. Listen out for Mike’s thoughts on the best strategy for local viral videos, B2B vs B2C blogging and the importance of niche marketing. And if that’s not enough to peak your curiosity, we also discussed the most effective RE blogging idea that no-one’s really pursuing yet. Enjoy!

This afternoon, I spoke with Jay Thompson — the man behind the 93rd editon of the CoRE at the Phoenix Real Estate Guy, for this week’s CoRE podcast. He recently started his own brokerage (Thompson’s Realty) and is one of the real class acts of the RE.net. Jay is on just about every social network, which makes finding him online easy. Further, he earns almost all of his business through his online efforts — so there is certainly a lot you can learn from him if you are a real estate professional trying to build your book of business online. I hope you enjoy the conversation (I certain did)!

Rich JacobsonI spoke with Rich Jacobson from Active Rain today for this week’s CoRE podcast. Even though we both live near Seattle, I haven’t really had the opportunity to speak with Rich before, but am certainly glad to finally catch up with him! We spoke about a range of topics — including the difference between real estate markets in Kansas and Washington, his role as a community builder at AR, and of course his thoughts on this week’s winners.

Doug HeddingsToday, I had the pleasure of speaking with this week’s carnival host, Douglas Heddings, for this week’s CoRE podcast. Doug is a Senior VP at Prudential Douglas Elliman, and still somehow finds time to maintain the True Gotham blog. In my mind, Doug is certainly one of the class-acts in the RE.net. We spoke about a number of topics — including the impact the declining dollar is having on the Manhattan market, a bit about his overall blogging strategy, SPAM mail, and the Manhattan market — hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did!

I had the pleasure of talking with this week’s carnival host, Jim Duncan, this morning for this week’s podcast. Jim is an agent for Century 21 Manly Associates in the Charlottesville, VA market. I’d argue he is one of the smartest real estate bloggers out there, and writes (mainly) for consumers at RealCentralVA.com and for the industry at AgentGenius. We spoke a bit about the carnival, blogging, and his local market — hope you enjoy the conversation!
